Coach Henigan gives out awards each week the Mustangs win a game. We wanted to explain some of the awards in case the titles do not accurately describe the award. We haven’t had to talk about this but now that the Mustangs have won 3 in-a-row it’s time to give these athletes their due publicity.

The awards are as follows:

• Battery - Someone who charges up the team and brings great energy.
• Hammer - Hit of the Week
• Pancake - Most Pancake Blocks for the Week
• Saw - Most Cut Blocks for the Week
• Special Forces - Special Teams Player of Week
• Lunch Box - Player who did all the dirty work that a lot of people might not notice. Brought his Lunch Box and went to work

The awards are posted by game date, a link can be found in the PLAYERS dropdown menu or the graphic on the home page.
