Mustang fans can be proud of the 2009 season, after losing the first 3 games who would have thought that we would be in the playoffs at Cowboys Stadium. If you’re like most of us, you can’t believe it’s over. The excitement of Friday night is in our mind especially as the weekend rolls around. What do we do with all this time! It’s almost like the day after Christmas after you’ve opened your gifts and guests have left, you are left with all the memories.

For some of us this was our last year, it’s even a sicker feeling but as they say…”Once a Mustang, always a Mustang.”

Coach summed it up perfectly with his notes this week (Coaches Blog). The “Miracle Mustangs” had quite a season; you’ll look back and remember the 2009 Miracle Mustangs.

You have to take time to thank all those involved in making this season a success. Our biggest thanks go Coach Henigan and his staff. The hours they invested in this team are countless; they always had our boys ready for the game…THANK YOU!

We also would like to thank the Mustang fans for coming to our games, especially away games. The most memorable was the Keller game; you helped the Mustangs win that game!

Thanks to the Band, the Cheerleaders and Fillies for being part of this special season.

Special thanks to all the booster club members that invested their time each week, we can all now go back to our real jobs. It takes a lot of people to run all the functions of the game including Tailgate parties, program sales, concessions, game program production and development, senior night, helmet setup and many other functions.

We are not done yet, lets get ready for 2010!
