On Saturday, January 23rd the football program wrapped up the end of a successful season with the annual awards banquet at the Texas Motor Speedway Club. Coach Henigan and his staff recognized the entire team and the accomplishments of individuals.

Some of the individual awards include; Alex Muller for “Special Teams MVP”, Dustin Gulizia for “Outstanding Offensive Lineman”, Andre Hicks for “Outstanding Defensive Lineman”, Jarrod Lynn for “Defensive MVP”, Ted Hull-Ryde for “Offensive MVP”, Ian Bargsley for “Coaches Q Award”, and Reed Ryan for “Team MVP”.

The Football Booster Club also award 10 - $1000 scholarships to the best essays submitted. This year we had a record amount of entries (over 20 submitted). The winners are as follows:

Tyler Miller, Travis Terrell, Austin Harrison, Christian Schroeder, Paul Huggins, Stephen Brady, Tyler Rupp, Chris Harold, Keegan LaBrier and Scott Harbin…Congratulations!

This year’s recipient of the Chad L’ Archer Scholarship for $2000 was Ryan Folkes.
